Going on this week in Taichung- I have no idea. Too cold for FUBAR, almost too damn cold to drink beer. Looks like I'm going to miss the Superbowl this Monday morning. Some things are more important than football. Not many things, mind you. But some.

Latest star slugfest is Tom Tancredo vs. Dave Barry. Smart money says Barry drops Tancredo to the canvass in Round five. Then names a band after him.

I may miss it too...the wife said I could not watch it at the bar if our kid was still sick. (Taiwanese defintion, i.e. cough once a day = serious cold)

But then I told her last night JOKINGLY that I had a customer I had to call so I had to be at work at 6:00 a.m. sharp Monday morning.

And she bought it!
