Haiku is gay. To prove it, here's a little composition of my own: (Note the title is a HOMOphone of the one you posted.)
(Tai2 Ku4)
bing1lang2, wi1shi2bi1,
tuo2xie2, kai1che1 wang2ba1dan4.
wo3 che1 zui4 da4 sheng1.
(roughly translated)
(Tai Cool)
Betel-nut, Whisby,
Flip-flops, Drive like an asshole.
My car is loudest.
Dude, I know your Chinese is like a billion times better than mine, but shouldn't the title be "tai2 ke4"?
tai2 ke4 would be the person who is tai2 (as in "ni2 hen3 tai2").
I intentionally used the adjectives tai2 and ku4 (as in "shou1 bu4 liao3 de ku4!") so it would have the same sound as "Thai coup". (Get it, HOMOphone?)
Also, blow me.
Ok, got it. I've never heard anyone say "shou1 bu4 liao3 de ku4", and I was thrown off by the betelnut and Whisby, classic hallmarks of tai2ke4.
Can we change the last line to:
"Wo3 de che3 zui4 biang4" ?
Sho Bu de Liao de Ku sounds much better poetically.
