As I get older, I have a lot fewer "Wow! I gotta get one of those!" moments. This applies to all kinds of things: vehicles, audio equipment, guns- but most of all computers. Like most of us, it took a few rounds of buying the latest and coolest computer rig, then watching it immediately crash Icarus-like into the ocean of obsolescence, for me to learn to stifle the PC impulse buy. But stifled it is, so I was caught by surprise today when some part of my brain started screaming "I NEED that! Buy it! Buy it NOW!". Maybe it it the confluence of 'computer' and 'ultra-rugged'.

Well, sure, but guns? I never lose the "I gotta have that!" reaction to those.
Yeah, but I just don't see guns for sale any more, not even online.
Well, I am not familiar with the regulation in your current home.

Nice, but not my style even in the shooting days.
No legal gun ownership in Taiwan as far as I know. For years I planned to start shooting archery again, then a while back they built a condominium on top of the local outdoor range. Just as well. Now I can just talk about how great I used to be in both sports.
It's perfect for the Paris-Dakar I'm going to enter next year.
As long as they have a class for my 50cc Cabin Boy, then I'm in.
