Reform

There are a couple of main players in the recent move towards U.S. patent reform. Pharmaceutical companies want immediate injunctions enforced by the National Guard, and patents that last 500 years. Tech companies want injunctions severely limited, and obviousness loosened up. The Chaon lobby wants design patents thrown into the ocean, and replaced with some trade dress legislation with some teeth in it.
