Blue Player

From Fox News: Bush to Call On National Guard for Border Control

Well, since it has come to this, allow me to offer U.S. residents some key information as to how things are going to run:

My advice to the blue player is to move quickly- once those lasers get going yer screwed.

USA always wins this game because the invaders get no second wave. They sploob their collective wad, then can't get it up for another (effective) round.
Fucking disorganized rabble.

To make this game more realistic, add a fourth enemy whose pieces are placed within the country on both coasts. These pieces do not actually do any combat, but instead hamper, delay or cripple the attacks of the USA player, or occasionally they aid the attacks of the invaders. While this player has fewer pieces than others, the damage to the US over time is greater.
Unfortunately, the USA player is not allowed to destroy these units no matter how much they deserve it.

Subtle enough for ya?

Both coasts? That would be the republican controled white house, senate on the east and Arnold on the west. Corruption, corporate greed and the good ole' boy back slappers; your're right no matter what we do we'll never destroy them.

AJ is almost right. The traitors in America today are concentrated mainly in the south and midwest. History will show these anti-American "Dittoheads" and "Freepers" to have been prime movers in the downfall of the once great USA.

Still, while these turncoats are doing their best to bring America down through nonstop hate-mongering ignorance, you can't just go around and shoot them Malv. They have constitutional rights, regardless of whether or not they know what these rights are, or how willing they are to deprive others of the same rights.

Forget I said anything; I woke up grumpy and hadn't had my coffee. I believe there's a blogging rule here...

Maybe if all the Americans worked together they could defeat the forces that are theoretically INVADING THE HOMELAND.

Yes, do send the Falwells and Pelosis over to occupied territory to tie down the invaders with whining liberal demands and screeching holy rolling, but everyone else hurry and man the laser towers!

Not to mention, Karl, that they got more guns.

Traitors in the South and Midwest? I totally disagree. These are the people who feed and defend the rest of the country. Without them the country would wither.

Liberals as a whole are the most hateful kind of people, unless they're extolling the virtues of Communists, criminals, or terrorists. (These people have more rights than the rest of us.) And as I said, the libs are concentrated mostly on the coasts.

Karl, you said "nonstop hate-mongering ignorance". Now if you're paying any attention at all, you must be able to see that everywhere on the left. Examples include:

- in the "USA is always wrong" / "Bush is always wrong" MSM. (Yeah, bitch about Fox News. I'm talking about the other 99.9%)

- at every protest where ignorant hippies carry signs saying the nastiest things about anybody they disagree with. (Didya see all those illegal aliens' hateful anti-Bush signs despite his being pretty much "on their side"?)

- similarly vitriolic commentary by snotty expats right here in Taichung.

You know how it goes. After hearing somebody seethe and splutter with rage for several minutes, (i.e., meaningful expression of their thoughts), I'll go and say something hateful like, "I don't think so" or "I disagree". That's right; I'm the troublemaker. That kind of talk is how I "piss people off", as you've accused me of doing a number of times. You're right; daring to disagree with a liberal is "hate-mongering". Who am I to have an opinion?

Listen to the things they say and then try to similar examples of hatred from the right.

"History will show", indeed! But not as you claim.

Chaon said...

Nice try, son. But I spend enough time keeping tabs on the Free Republic, LGF, and Lord Spatula types to know otherwise.

And you are viewed as the troublemaker because you never offer any evidence of critical thinking or reasoning when these topics come up. All you ever say is "Nuh uh", and then start pointing fingers, just like you did in the post above.

Like I said, between the input from you and Jim Houston, I'm going to remain a liberal for the rest of my life.

And quit sending me links to Rush Limbaugh's stuff. Every time you do that I have to send another fifty bucks to the DNC, and it's getting kind of expensive.

You mean like Saddam Hussein, our "strong right arm" in the Middle East, as Rumsfeld once called him?

The fascists who are running our nation -- as opposed to the conservatives, liberals, and progressives who are all disgusted with them -- are the major criminals and terrorists in the USA at the moment.

It's not the liberals who have the NSA collecting the nation's phone calls. It's not liberals who have done an end run around the fourth amendment. It's not the liberals who illegally invaded a prostrate nation that was no threat to them in search of weapons that didn't exist. It's not the liberals who have degraded our fine army in a senseless occupation of a nation that hates us passionately. It is not the liberals who have blown up the US budget. It's not the liberals who want to destroy national parks to drill for oil the nation doesn't need. It's not liberals who are doing nothing to address global warming. It's not the liberals who have no energy policy, so we have $3.00 a gallon gasoline. It's not the liberals who want hopeless abstinence programs instead of real sex education in the schools. It's not the liberals who advocate that certain sectors of the population should have reduced civil rights because of what they do with their genitals. It's not the liberals who have run the single most corrupt government in US history. It's not the liberals who have driven a truck through our carefully built international alliance systems and made us the most hated nation in the world. It's not the liberals who have set up a survelliance state at home. It's not the liberals who are attempting to teach creationism in the schools and who are working to destroy the finest university system in the world and its leading science establishment. It's not the liberals who have followed policies of class warfare that have led to income concentrations in the top 1% that make S. American banana republics look like miracles of equality. It's not the liberals who are in bed politically with a dangerous theocratic fascist movement on the Christian right. It's not the liberals who hate women and work to overturn abortion laws and reduce access to birth control. It's not the liberals who have the highest abortion, suicide, divorce, and crime rates, and the lowest levels of enviromental protection, teacher pay, and every other positive social indicator -- what state has the lowest divorce rates? Liberal Massachusetts.

"History will show", indeed! But not as you claim.

History has already shown. There is hardly a single aspect of American life that has not become more coarsened, more degraded, and more evil, as a result of the Bush Administration's policies. That Administration is a sickness we will be decades recovering from.

Michael: As you're so fond of saying - L... O... L!

You seem to believe that all conservatives are die-hard whacked-out religious nuts. The drivel you wrote above is so typical. Several of those are non-issues. Some of the country's troubles have actually been made worse by government's NOT doing anything about them. Now a bunch of people are trying to seriously address some problems, and the left, while offering no help, does all it can to hinder any progress.

OMG WTF LOL! You zany rapscallion, you! You said, "There is hardly a single aspect of American life that has not become more coarsened, more degraded, and more evil, as a result of the Bush Administration's policies. That Administration is a sickness we will be decades recovering from." This tells me that you're a lot more fucked up than I had thought. Look on the bright side, Bush WON'T be elected again in '08.

Just what is it that liberals do, aside from whine and criticize those who DO try do things?

What do libs contribute to the country? What ideas do libs have to solve (NOT prolong / exacerbate them)?

Karl: You sometimes seem almost sensible. I usually sent you only things that I thought you'd be able to at least handle conceptually, if not totally agree with.

I promise to never again frighten you with such things. (After all, what would your friends say, if your eyes should ever actually came into contact with anything from Limbaugh?)

I won't argue with you guys. I'm not good at it, and I don't like to do it. (It's too much like trying to argue with religious people, anyway.) None of us are going to change our minds, so to hell with it.

No more politix frum me. I em to dumm for you guyz.

Still available for A&A, though.

btw karl. still not smoking? (if so, congrats)

Still not smoking. Eating everything in sight, though. At this rate, I'll be 120 kg by the end of the summer.

I do want to mention that when US militray trainers had a Q&A session for newly minted Afghan Army officers, one of the questions was:

Why are all US soldiers from Texas?

I believe 25% of our troops do come from Texas actually, and the amount of bases and no income tax probably helps convert some of the non-Texans in the Army. Now, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Corrollary question from the 90's from Taiwanese student: why do no black people come to teach English?

Michael Turton said...

You seem to believe that all conservatives are die-hard whacked-out religious nuts.

No, Malv. Conservatives are different from die-hard whacked out religious nuts. The former are people who believe in small government and limited power. The latter are fascists who worship power and don't care how much control the government acheives over society. That's what they want....and that's why I distinguished between "conservatives, progressives, and liberals" and the fascists running the joint. The people in charge in DC are neo-cons who are right-wing fascists who call themselves conservatives, but are not.

The drivel you wrote above is so typical. Several of those are non-issues.

Specifics, please. What exactly is "drivel?"

Some of the country's troubles have actually been made worse by government's NOT doing anything about them. Now a bunch of people are trying to seriously address some problems, and the left, while offering no help, does all it can to hinder any progress.

WHAT PROGRESS? At the moment we are losing two wars and contemplating a third, which we will also lose. We're the most hated nation on earth. The US dollar is a disaster waiting to happen. The budget deficit is the highest in the history of the nation, every year of the Bush regime, in fact. The US is falling behind in science and technology, according to major reporting organizations. The government is spying on the citizens, collecting phone call data, and, as ABC news recently reported, specifically hunting down the sources of news organizations. The President has declared that he is above the law. He has declared that US citizens are subject to detention without trial if he so designates. Etc.

So please, Malv. Show me this "progress". Be concrete.

Just what is it that liberals do, aside from whine and criticize those who DO try do things?

That's absurd. Practically of the protections and freedoms you enjoy as a US citizen are the result of liberal and progressive movements, from medicare and social security to graduated income tax, freedom of the speech, religion, and press, access to birth control, labor laws and safety regulations, etc. Authoritarians and conservatives have fought all of these.

But be specific Malv. I noticed all you can do is spout generalities. Which things that the Bush Administration is doing represent progress and problem solving? Please, please be concrete.

"The US dollar is a disaster waiting to happen."

No offense but the dollar tanked before in the late 80's and we are still around to talk about the dollar, so I wouldn't freak too much.

In fact, its funny how everyone is upset about the Yuan being undervalued and then screams when the US dollar falls...uh, those are two sides to the same coin.

My guess is we will weather through the storms like we always have and probably Iraq and Afghanistan will end up like Colombia, India, or Indonesia...semi-democratic 3rd world countries with long term insurgencies.
