Weekend

Tomorrow night at the Grooveyard, the band Fireflower will be playing. I dont' know much about that band, except that their website says they believe in the healing power of music. I am skeptical of this claim, in that I have listened to the song Underbelly by Ghost in the Machine about nine thousand times, and I don't feel particularly healed at all.


At FM tomorrow night is the Thirst Aid Doctors & Nurses Party. From the mass E-mail:

Let the blood run free! Dress as doctors, nurses or patients and experience the fM Hospital Zone. Free Drink with costume - themed bar.

So if you bring your own costume themed bar, you get a free drink? I saw this E-mail, and thought to myself that I could just wear my blue surgeons' scrub shirt. Then I realized that I haven't owned that shirt in about 15 years. That's a fairly odd memory quirk- thinking that you still own something that you haven't worn in over a decade.
