Supreme Court Nominee

CNN Says that Bush has chosen to nominate John Roberts to the U.S. Supreme Court.

I need to know some more details about this John Roberts fellow, because his website is fairly lacking in detail. I don't even know what the word 'Apostolic' means. The spiritual gifts of GOD are great and all, but how is this applied to application of the Commerce Clause?

Here's a pretty good synopsis of what the press thinks of him: http://www.slate.com/id/2123066/?nav=fo

Render unto caesar what is his...I think this means that the dressing can be shipped across state lines, but maybe the bread sticks can't?

You get Family Guy there in Taiwan? You need to. Recent example, God phones up Bush and says he'd really appreciate it if um, George could kind of downplay their relationship in the media. Just not so much of the "God wanted you to be president" and all that God stuff at the end of every speech, okay? Thanks, I really appreciate...(sound of call on other line) God ends the conversation abruptly with "Oooh, it's Cheney on the other line, I gotta take this call. (switches phone) Yes, Sir?"

Anyways, I dunno, I keep wondering what Renquist is holding out for now. The fucking battle is lost, just go die in peace, old fella, Sandy Day done fucked us all. On the bright side, once you get on that bench and nobody can fire you, you get...ideas. (I mean, Sandra was a Reagan appointee...)Hope for the best is all we can do. Well, that and keep the tar and feathers handy.
