In the southwest corner of Sri Lanka, there is an old Dutch fort in the city of Galle. The fort is about 350 years old. They say there that Galle is the city of Tarshish as mentioned in the Old Testament. I didn't know the Old Testament mentioned such a place, so I have no idea if that is true. The 'fort' is quite large- 30+ acres, and is filled with restaurants, shops, hotels, and at least one mosque:
