On Tap Taipei

On Tap Taipei, which bills itself as “Taipei’s Only Real Pub”, has received the prestigious: “Dear-God-How-does-this-Place-Stay-in-Business” award from a team of select judges. The evaluation criteria for this coveted trophy include such factors as: “How long have we been sitting here?”, “This is bullshit. I’m fucking starving. Where is our goddamn waitress?”, and “They call this a Greek Salad?”. Judges said contributing elements in the decision included the establishment’s strong showing in “Gross. I think I’m gonna be sick.”

By coming into possession of this accolade, On Tap successfully unseats That One Filthy Noodle Place Next to the Night Market, which had held the title for the previous seven years.

Maybe a real pub doesn't serve salad anyway.

That would still leave their not-fit-for-dogs hamburger unexplained.

I'm assuming you didn't leave a tip.

Or did you pussy-out and tip her?

There is (mostly) no tipping in Taiwan.

That's not a denial.
