Bush doesn't like the Massechusets ruling on gay marriage:

"Marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman," he said in the statement. "If activist judges insist on redefining marriage by court order, the only alternative will be the constitutional process. We must do what is legally necessary to defend the sanctity of marriage."

Now, I am assuming that there is a libertarian wing of the Republican party that is yelling and throwing things right about now. But if they're going to do a no-gay-marriage amendment, they could go ahead and combine that with the no-flag-burning amendment. And since we are pulling from the Judeo-Christian tradition for our amendments (it what other context does Bush's use of the word 'sacred' make any sense), while we're at it we could add a no race-mixing amendment: Deuteronomy 7:3; Numbers 25:6~8; 36, 3~9; 1 Kings 11:2; Ezra 9:2; Nehemiah 13:25~27
