The tools in a machinist’s tool-box are a sure indication of his ability. A well-fitted kit of fine tools helps him hold a job in hard times and is one of the best assets a man can have when applying for a job. The possession of many fine tools indicates a love for accurate work, freedom from the borrowing habit, and a determination to do work which will demand recognition.Winner gets a set of ratchet wrenches. Unless I've already given you a set of ratchet wrenches, in which case you'll get a ratcheting bit driver set.

Re Con Test
Due to the, uh, response I had from the last contest, and from Spencer's suggestion, here is this week's version. Name the source for the text below. Hints: 1) It is not from a tool catalog per se, it is an actual book. 2) I have this book on a shelf in my living room.

Hmmm...which one of your Penthouse letter collections had that text?
Since you've been in my living room more than most, you should have a pretty good advantage in this week's contest.
Further hint- it's not one of the Gaiman books.
Cliff Clavin from Jeopardy: "Who are three people who have never been in my kitchen?"
One day I hope to achieve freedom from the borrowing habit. And the picking my nose in public habit as well.
My guess is it's a Craftsman catalog from 1986.
