Just got back from two weeks of exploring my Viking heritage.*
Here is a quick list of the things I learned. All blog posts for the rest of the year will be devoted to bitching about how expensive Norway is.
1) God damn, Danish people are tall.
2) I should have gone to Christiana when I was 20. All I can say now is "Hippies. What the fuck?"
3) Pickled herring everywhere, in all types and sizes. Om nom, etc.
4) The Chinese [峽灣] makes a lot more sense than "fjord".
* I could possibly be Norwegian. You never know.

1. Pickled herring is good.
2. I actually have six pound of salmon in my fridge right now turning into gravlax. Mmmmmmmmm, salted and cured fish . . . . .
