What in the hell is this crap: Murders with Firearms (per capita)??? It's got the United States at #8 stuck in between Belarus and Uruguay. Just what are they trying to imply? Maybe Americans LIKE getting murdered by handguns. Maybe getting shot to death is part of the Great American Way of Life! These people don't understand anything. Besides. If America has more murders per capita by firearm, then other countries must have a much higher murder rate per capita. See, look here. All the way down to #24, between Bulgaria and Armenia.

You know what America needs to lower both of these rates? Conceal carry laws in every state! That's right! Because when everyone has a handgun tucked in their britches, then nobody will ever dare commit a crime because they will know that everyone will just shoot the criminal down right away. This has been SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN. Vermont! Second Amendment! Switzerland! Charlton Heston! I read it in a Robert Heinlein novel! And remember, ONLY FREE MEN CARRY GUNS. Unless the men are Iraqi. Then they might carry a big old mess of guns and still live under a Brutal Dictator. Wait, I know! Iraq needs Conceal Carry laws!
