With a grudging endorsement of EJ Ford notwithstanding, I'd like to continue to keep away from political topics here. Over beer and through thick clouds of cigarette smoke, I've harangued everyone who would listen with my views on Obama (bugs me), Clinton (******* *****), McCain (Depends®). There will not be any flashing banners in the sidebar at the right, advocating this candidate, that party, or the other policy.
But other blogs and boards are still talking U.S. presidency '08, and the conservative sites I read (Red A, Debunkers, Volokh, and Free Republic) have many comments on Obama that are... interesting. I mean, I am hardly a master of perception or anything, but sometimes the subtext is louder and clearer than the text.
