Thailand has an aircraft carrier? Must be a helicopter aircraft carrier!
Keep in mind none of those countries has to patrol the global sea lanes.
So, they wouldn't have to keep the Hormuz open while possibly fighting the Chinese navy and air force in the Taiwan straights.
But I do feel much better...we could probably cut a couple carrier groups.

That is pretty sad.

Maybe our carriers are also tougher than they were in WW II. Lots of carriers lost to subs in WWII, but this article seems to say its very hard to sink a modern carrier as they are so big.
"If I had a boat, I'd go out on the ocean. And if I had a pony. I'd ride him on my boat."
To which I would add, if I had a bayonet I would...never mind, this is not going to turn out well for the pony.
I had to Google the whole thing. Dave Matthews Band?
