I think vandals have been at the Wikipedia page for Daniel Inouye. If there were a movie scene in which a guy pries a live grenade from the hand of his mostly severed arm and throws it into an enemy bunker, then advances to finish off the enemy with a Thompson, the movie would be panned for lack of believability.

ReplyDeleteI watched the movie Go For Broke about them on Netflix...my god movies made back when sucked. They should do a remake ala Saving Private Ryan.
ReplyDeleteI also just drove on the 442 Regimental Combat Team highway. If you're going to name a highway after a kick-ass combat unit, they should have a higher speed limit on that highway to honor them.
