As I understand these things, the human soul is a unitary spiritual essence that is unique to my being. I hope that this is correct, especially the unitary bit. Because if a soul can be fragmented upon death, then it looks like I'll be in the third, fifth, seventh and ninth Gaming Circles of Hell.
