Obama is starting to come across like a protagonist in a Greek tragedy. Wonder what the fatal flaw will turn out to be.

Best line from the comments:
"The fact is that Obama’s speeches make me feel like it might actually be possible to bring our country to a place where I don’t feel embarrassed to be an American."

You have to wonder why people want to represent this place at all....

Keep a light burning for me, its getting stranger by the day.

Ahhh, now I understand why that office in Houston featured the Cuban flag.

  3. A desire to treat the American working class as something other than human garbage is not usually something I consider a fatal flaw.

  4. Yes, Karl, because if we allow secret balloting rather than card checks for unionization, America has lost and the terrorists have won.

Not to mention that having a special form of company that gets special favors bestowed upon it by our political class is asking for trouble.

You know, I like Obama. He seems nice and has said some intelligent things. I wouldn't be too upset if he won. Maybe I will even vote for him. I just hope this sort of thing is the worst we'll see.

Dude. U.S. tax code is nothing *but* companies getting special favors bestowed on them by the political class.
